[stag_intro]If you’ve been keeping up with Rose & Fire since our previous review, then you know they’ve been absolutely crushing it lately. Their solid designs have been evolving and they’ve been experimenting non-stop with many top-quality materials. This is the type of company that we love to cover here on Fresh.[/stag_intro]
To take a look at some of the new products, we put the waxed canvas driver / fairway covers out for review and also added in the new bison putter cover.
Following the typical reaction pattern for Rose & Fire products – I was impressed with every aspect of these new offerings. The materials were all great and the removal of the zippers and hardware from the covers will appeal to those that want a pure cover with minimalist undertones.
The waxed canvas have a great fit and finish. The quality of the covers is at a level that they could likely be passed down through a few generations. As someone who puts a lot of wear and tear on equipment from persistent weekly travel, I can say these covers will hold up to anything you throw at them. And of course, the waxed canvas holds up great and repels rain and moisture better than anything on the market.
I’m also in love the thick leather badges that are found on the headcovers. The covers have a thick leather that is stamped with your choice of a few logo designs and they only get better with age.
The bison putter cover is thick and durable, perfect for keeping your well-loved putter protected. The graining pattern of the leather is excellent and the touch is soft with a slight waxy feel. This newer design removes the patch and hardware that are found on some of the older putter designs from Rose & Fire.
As the line has now expanded to include a variety of high-quality materials and a wide selection of color options, you have plenty of options to choose from if you’re in the market for picking up some new covers.
